Do I need to sign up?

No. You can generate up to 3 images without an account. Sign up for 10 free credits — they never expire — plus image history and API access.

What formats does it output?

1200×630 WebP for standard Open Graph, 1200×628 for Twitter / X, 1200×627 for LinkedIn, and 1200×630 for Facebook. All four formats are available via the format picker.

Can I use this via API?

Yes. Pro and Team plans include API access with a bearer token. POST to /api/generate-og with your URL and you'll get base64 WebP back in the response.

What if the site already has an OG image?

We detect the existing og:image and show it to you. You can still generate a new one with a single click using the “Generate anyway” option.

Do generated images have a watermark?

Free account images include a small MakeOG badge. Any paid credit pack removes the badge — credits never expire.
